Our People
Join us in meeting the inspiring individuals behind our mission who are driving change across North Carolina. Together, we can make a difference!
Sandhills Board of Officers
We aim to make a positive impact on the world, beginning with our community.

President | Loki
Loki was sexually abused as a child and was afraid to come forward. He has always felt the need to protect those who can't defend themselves. After a career in the US INFANTRY and a lifelong love of motorcycles, he learned about the Guardians of the Children, and the rest is history in the making.

Vice President | Bishop
Bishop is a husband and father who makes his own mead. He has been riding for four years, starting after Active Duty. With over 20 years in safety-focused fields, he is dedicated to making a positive impact. He believes in GOC’s mission to support child victims failed by those meant to protect them. He stands as a reminder that someone is always willing to provide shelter and comfort in a world where both are needed.

Secretary | Valkyrie
Valkyrie is the Secretary and Court Liaison for the Sandhills Chapter of the Guardians of the Children. She has been riding her own bike for a few years now, though for years, she enjoyed the backseat of her husband, Loki. A founding member of the Sandhills Chapter, her love of children runs deep. In addition to her work with GoC, she is raising two littles of her own and also volunteers with Scouting America.

Treasurer | Babi
Babi is a mother and wife who is learning to ride. A longtime supporter of children, she has worked in child education and volunteered with Scouting USA for over a decade. Through leadership roles, she has helped shape future generations. In addition to GOC-SH, she continues mentoring in Scouting. She knows the legal system doesn’t always work and is committed to being a stable force for children in need.
